    The room had issues with the air conditioning and dirty curtains. Plus, the bed kept rolling around, making it impossible to relax. Definitely needs some serious upgrades before I consider coming back.

    Beautiful grand old place with caring employees on the excellent service given by the room cleaning staff. Had magnificent and perfect location in the Coco restaurant, close to a cathedral and an art gallery. Good food in the in-house restaurant in the vicinity.

    I had a great experience overall; my room was spacious, clean, and offered fine views, made my stay enjoyable. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the staff were great, making me feel welcomed.

    Menu for breakfast should include more fresh fruit options.

    Clean hotel with friendly staff and excellent facilities to relax such as spa, sauna, gym and pool. Hotel food was great and good internet service. Hotel is in the city centre and the harbour.

    Really liked the Spa and made good use of it, the location was great within easy walking distant to many things, swimming area was great, good size pools. Room was large, bed very comfy, neat & tidy, good products in bathroom & large towels a big plus.

    There was no bar service around the pool area so getting a drink was a mission, not good. Service in the main bar was slow if sitting down, easier to go up to the bar but you shouldn't have to at this level hotel.

    The location in the centre of Cairns is good. Next to great fish restaurant D'vine. Good bed.

    The prices in Australia are very high at the moment because of the strong AUD. The room we got needs to be redone. No flatscreen but old tv, no program to get news about the floods in Queensland. No free wifi!

    There appeared to be several trainee staff (is it a training hotel?) at the desk and elsewhere but they were all very proficient.

    No, we found it a very pleasant place to stay with close proximity to the Esplanade which is where we like to eat.

    The breakfast is expensive. When I approached them to add breakfast into my room package, they refused.

    Enjoyable breakfast, clean and fabulous hotel. Great and lovely location, a short walk to Cairns Zoom And Wildlife Dome. Neat and new-fashioned room complete with great views and stylish furnishings, for example.
